Aquatic Complex | Open swim

From May 8th to September 12nd, 2010

Bring the whole family to splash around and play water games in the recreational swimming pool. With a gradual access ramp making it easier for toddlers and handicapped swimmers to enter the water, this progressive pool welcomes guests of all kinds! (also equipped with a mechanical chair to lower patrons with reduced mobility into the water)

Summer 2010 Pre Season
From May 8 to June 13, open Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.


Summer 2010 (recreational pool)
From June 14 to August 22, 2010 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.


Summer 2010 Post Season
From August 23-27, from 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
August 28-29, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. or 4 p.m.
August 31 and September 2 from 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
September 4, 5 and 6 from 11a.m. to 5 p.m. or 4 p.m.
September 7 and 9 from  3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
September 11 and 12 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. or 4 p.m.

Ratios

Children aged 7 and under must be accompanied by a person aged 16 or older.

  • Children from 0 to 24 months:                1 adult / 1 child
  • Children from 25 months to 7 years:     1 adult / 3 children
  • Person with a handicap:                          1 adult to 1 child

Important things to know

  • Rules
  • Bathing suits are required, even for toddlers.
  • Wearing a swim cap is optional.
  • Coolers and lunch boxes are prohibited on the pool deck; the restaurant area is reserved for client use.
  • Bicycle stands are available for guest use outside of the Complex. Bringing your own lock is recommended.
  • Lockers are located in the changing rooms and near the pool deck. Bringing your own lock is  advisable.
  • Swimmers must visibly come up for air and are prohibited from using flippers and a snorkel.
  • There is no automatic teller machine at the Île Sainte-Hélène Aquatic Complex, but there is one near the Jean-Drapeau subway station.  
  • Children under 10 are prohibited from using the tower or springboard.
  • Trampoline access is reserved for children 6 or older, or for those who measure 92 cm (36 po).

 

Anyone not complying with the rules is subject to a warning. The Société du parc Jean-Drapeau reserves the right to eject anyone that does not obey the rules or warnings. Parc Jean-Drapeau is not responsible for lost or stolen objects.
