“Obélisque oblique”
Facing the main entrance to the Casino de Montréal.
Created in 1962 by the sculptor Henri-Georges Adam, the Obélisque was a gift from France during Expo 67. The sculpture’s sharp forms point in different directions. Like directional arrows at the crossroads of many routes, they testify to the destiny of modern men and women who are entreated by calls from all sides.
