The Stewart Museum
Île Sainte-Hélène’s imposing fortifications, which were built by the British in 1820 and long served to protect Montreal, are now hosed in the Stewart Museum. Nearly two centuries later, the former arsenal fascinates visitors with its vaults, carriage entrances and history…passionately related year-round by the Stewart Museum team.
