The Hélène de Champlain
This building owes its name to Hélène Boullé, wife of Samuel de Champlain, to whom Île Saint-Hélène was conceded. The Hélène de Champlain opened in 1955. In 1967, it was converted into the pavilion of honour, playing host to chiefs of and other dignitaries during the World’s Fair. Since then, the building has maintained its illustrious character.
