Parking rates include a $1 contribution to the Fonds Oxygène, Parc Jean-Drapeau’s
Fund for Measures to Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions. In accordance with its sustainable development policy, the Société du parc Jean-Drapeau has created Fonds Oxygène which aims at significantly reducing CO2 emissions and thus improve air quality. The initiatives funded by Fonds Oxygène will ensure a sustainable use of natural resources in all of our activities and installations.

By bike or in-line skates
From Montreal
From the Lachine Canal bike path near the Old Port, follow the signs for Cité du Havre and then for Île Notre-Dame
From the South Shore
Tale the bike link to the Victoria Bridge, which leads to Île Notre-Dame.
The bike link from the South Shore is open from April 15 to October 31, from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Please note the cycling path is not accessible when there is a ship passing through the Saint-Lambert locks. To check the ships’ scheduled passage times, click on the following link and select Saint-Lambert locks in the scroll-down menu. Since the waiting time for a ship to pass might be rather long, please check the schedule so that you can better plan your bike trips.

Spring settles in with the BIXIs!
Great news! The BIXI self-service bike stations will be in operation the week of April 4 at Parc Jean-Drapeau. One station will be set up at the Jean-Drapeau subway station exit and another at the Beach. Extra stations will be installed as required to respond to special needs for some of the major events. Happy biking!

Motorcycle
In compliance with city by-laws, motorcycle traffic is prohibited at all times on Île Notre-Dame’s roadways. It is permitted on Île Sainte-Hélène from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. provided the entry and exit is done via the Jacques-Cartier Bridge.
Exceptions:
- Any person traveling between his/her workplace and place of residence
- A peace officer exercising his/her duties
- Scooters with an engine capacity no greater than 50 cm3
