Logo of Parc Jean-Drapeau
As a tribute to Jean Drapeau, the mayor of Montreal (from 1954-1957 and 1960-1986) and the man behind major projects such as the World's Fair, Expo '67, the city of Montreal decided to rename the tourist site comprising the islands of Sainte-Hélène and Notre-Dame, Parc Jean-Drapeau. This honour has added relevance since Mayor Drapeau had expanded Île Ste-Hélène and created Île Notre-Dame for Expo '67.
Parc Jean-Drapeau's visual identity consists of the 1967 World's Fair logotype and the referencing of "Parc Jean-Drapeau".

Graphics standards
- The font type used in the logotype is Optima normal.
- No changes can be made to the signature.
- Separating the logotype from the institutional signature is strictly prohibited.
- Any form of superimposing is expressly prohibited.
- To maintain the consistency of the signature, it must always be centred at the bottom of the print material, both front and back.
The white space around the signature must always be maintained:
Inverted impression
The signature has also been designed so that an inverted impression can be used. The inverted version might serve the purpose when use of the signature alone does not provide the desired visual impact:
- On an inappropriate colour
- On a photo
- On a background that is already full or busy
The inverted version is not to be used on a halftone background or on a background that does not provide sufficient visual contrast. Avoid using a background that is already full or busy, so as not to affect the legibility of the logotype and signature. Select a font that maximizes the visual impact.
