Cycling paths
Parc Jean-Drapeau offers 25 kilometres of cycling paths affording some magnificent views of Montréal. Come and ride on the splendid Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve or on an official leg of the Route verte and Trans Canada Trail.
Parc Jean-Drapeau puts maintenance stations at the disposal of cyclists in the event of a bike breakdown or flat tire.
Parc Jean-Drapeau's cycling paths are open from April 15 to October 31.

BIXI
Self-serve BIXI bike stations are set up at the Parc each summer: near the Jean-Drapeau subway station, near the Beach and close to La Ronde. Extra stations are set up to meet the specific needs of certain major events. Happy biking!
Morning training on Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve
From June 12 to October 31, 2012, Parc Jean-Drapeau is making Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve available to cyclists, Monday through Friday from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. During this period, cyclists can use the entire circuit without having to worry about vehicular traffic, obligatory stops or the speed limit.
Cyclists' code of conduct (French only)
- Partagez la piste avec courtoisie et respect, surtout envers ceux qui ne roulent pas à la même vitesse que vous.
- Respectez la signalisation.
- Cédez le passage aux piétons aux passages désignés.
- Regardez derrière vous et faites votre signe de dépassement avec le bras lorsque vous dépassez. Gardez une distance raisonnable en doublant les autres cyclistes.
- Évitez les changements de direction et les freinages brusques. Vous n'êtes pas seul sur la piste
Temporary closures of Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve
Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve will be completely closed from June 2-11, 2012 inclusively because of the Grand Prix du Canada.
It will also be completely closed from August 13-20, 2012 inclusively because of the NAPA Auto Parts 200 presented by Dodge (NASCAR series race).
From June 12 to October 31, 2012 inclusively, Monday through Friday from 5 to 7 (in the morning), access to Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve will be reserved for cyclists.
