Closure of the Jacques‑Cartier Bridge
June 25, 2017
Due to the rerun of Jacques‑Cartier Bridge's illumination show, the bridge will be completely closed on June 25 from 9:30 p.m. to 11:45 p.m.
Circuit Gilles‑Villeneuve currently open

Closure of the Aquatic Complex
January 1st to December 31, 2017
Due to construction work near the Aquatic Complex, it will be closed to public and athletes for the 2017 season. Swimmers will still be able to come enjoy the water at Parc Jean‑Drapeau this summer at Jean‑Doré Beach.

Open water swimming

June 21 to August 16, 2017

Are you tired of training under the neon lights of your sports centre? Are you looking for a more dynamic and enjoyable space for your swimming training? Parc Jean-Drapeau offers an open water swimming course in the heart of nature, just a few minutes from downtown Montreal. Whether you are an athlete or an occasional swimmer, the 300-meter-long course of Jean-Dore Beach is ideal for both competitive and recreational training.

Closed in 2017 due to construction

The Aquatic Complex will be closed for the 2017 season. To all swimmers, visit the Jean-Doré Beach located on Notre-Dame Island this summer to enjoy the sun and play in the water.

Aquazilla, obstacle course

Aquazilla is back this summer on the Beach at Parc Jean-Drapeau. Aquazilla is a unique inflatable structure comprised of obstacles, slides and platforms for jumping into the water, and much more.

Boat rentals

At Parc Jean-Drapeau, you can rent pedal boats, canoes, kayaks and mayaks and navigate between the Beach and the Casino de Montréal.

SUP Lessons and rentals

Introductory SUP lessons, Yoga and Fitness paddleboard classes and a rental service for boards and stand up paddleboards are available through the Pavillon des activités nautiques.
