Canadian National Concrete Canoe Competition
Parc Jean-Drapeau will host ultralight concrete canoe races made by teams of civil engineers from a number of Canadian and international universities. The races will take place at the Olympic Basin during a university competition allowing engineering students to apply theories and concepts learned in class through a challenging project.
The designed canoes must float when completely filled with water and need to accommodate up to four people to do races.
