Île Notre-Dame closed - GPF1

Because of the Grand Prix du Canada, île Notre-Dame is closed to the public from Saturday, June 4th to Friday, June 17th, inclusively. Consequently, the South Shore bike link, the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve, the Olympic Basin and the Athletes' Quarter is not accessible during that time. Thank you for your understanding.

Mechanical hunters at Olympic Basin

In order to deter seagulls from the Olympic Basin to ensure a better water quality, mechanical hunters have been strategically located around the Basin. Since this equipment makes a loud sound it could cause a surprise effect when in function, but it is harmless. Thank you for your comprehension.
