Construction work: Difficulty getting to the Parc from the Jacques-Cartier Bridge

March 17 to April 30, 2019

Due to construction work on the Jacques Cartier Bridge, the access ramp to Parc Jean-Drapeau (heading toward the South Shore) will be closed from Sunday March 17 (11 p.m.) to Tuesday, April 30 (5 a.m.). Only the access ramp heading toward Montréal will be open to vehicular traffic. A detour and road signs will be set up shortly. Cyclists will be able to get to Parc Jean-Drapeau by using the Concorde Bridge from Montréal or by using the Saint-Lambert locks from the South Shore.

Plan your trip and avoid unpleasant surprises by consulting often the important notices or the schedule of activities and events that are of interest to you.

The 34th edition of the Montreal Esprit Triathlon, which takes place at the Olympic Basin and on the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve at Parc Jean-Drapeau, welcomes thousands of athletes in swimming, cycling and running events on a flat and fast course.

The course is designed so that spectators are in the heat of the action to cheer the athletes!
