Construction work: Difficulty getting to the Parc from the Jacques-Cartier Bridge

March 17 to April 30, 2019

Due to construction work on the Jacques Cartier Bridge, the access ramp to Parc Jean-Drapeau (heading toward the South Shore) will be closed from Sunday March 17 (11 p.m.) to Tuesday, April 30 (5 a.m.). Only the access ramp heading toward Montréal will be open to vehicular traffic. A detour and road signs will be set up shortly. Cyclists will be able to get to Parc Jean-Drapeau by using the Concorde Bridge from Montréal or by using the Saint-Lambert locks from the South Shore.

National Sprint Team Trials

National Sprint Team Trials

The national sprint canoe-kayak trials, which take place at the Parc Jean-Drapeau's Olympic Basin, aim to select the athletes who will be part of the national teams.

The races for each discipline are held over distances of 200 m, 500 m and 1000 m.
