Parc Jean-Drapeau
Netiquette

Netiquette

Parc Jean-Drapeau's (PJD) netiquette is simple, to avoid any ambiguity. It sets the rules and guidelines for conversations and conduct by pointing out to users the type of content that is acceptable on the various platforms. PJD's netiquette is appropriate for users and managers alike; it ensures conversation and conduct are maintained at an acceptable level.

PJD is on social media in an effort to communicate with the public, wherever it happens to be, and PJD does so in a multi-directional manner. It encourages genuine, transparent, respectful, fair and honest conversation.

Monitoring period

The monitoring period is from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Users wishing to take part in a conversation on PJD platforms must comply with the following rules:

  1. Any published content or comment must be directly linked to PJD;
  2. Appropriate, inoffensive language must be used;
  3. No harm or damage may be brought on any individual, group or organization. No form of bias or discrimination will be tolerated.
