South Shore Bike Link closed Saturday August 19

August 19, 2017

The South Shore Bike Link and the Route Verte on Île Notre‑Dame will be closed on Saturday, August 19 and will be accessible to cyclists Sunday, August 20. The cycling links and the portion of the Route Verte on St. Helens' Island that connects Jacques‑Cartier Bridge and Concorde Bridge are not affected by this closure.

The Jean‑Doré Beach is closed Saturday, August 19, due to the Guns N' Roses concert. The beach will open on Sunday morning as usual.

Take the subway!

July 25 to September 4, 2017

The number of parking spaces is limited at the Parc due to the Enhancement and Development work. It is therefore strongly recommended you take the subway to get to Parc Jean‑Drapeau.

Circuit Gilles‑Villeneuve closed

July 25 to August 20, 2017

The Circuit Gilles‑Villeneuve will again be accessible to pedestrians and cyclists on August 21. During the closure of Circuit Gilles‑Villeneuve, cyclists and pedestrians that want to get to Jean‑Doré Beach will have to take the Route Verte or the free 767 shuttle from the Jean‑Drapeau subway station.

Aquatic Complex closed for the 2017 season

January 1st to December 31, 2017

Due to construction work near the Aquatic Complex, it will be closed to public and athletes for the 2017 season. Swimmers will still be able to come enjoy the water at Parc Jean‑Drapeau this summer at Jean‑Doré Beach.

Noël chez Jean

For a third year at Parc Jean-Drapeau, the Beach Chalet turns into a real winter chalet that can accommodate groups of 80 to 120 people in a banquet setting.

Renamed Noël chez Jean for the occasion, the Beach Chalet is offering, from November 25st, 2016, to January 14th, 2017, an inclusive package deal starting from $90 per person, in partnership with Gestion GSP and Parreira Traiteur.

The program includes a traditional supper that promotes getting together and sharing a meal, DJs that can adapt to your style of music, a wood fireplace with a stone chimney, an outstanding view overlooking the all lit-up Casino de Montréal, and a guaranteed fun time!
