The Circuit will be closed to vehicular traffic on June 27-28, from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. because of the World Paratriathlon Series event. A special entry way accessible by the Concorde Bridge will maintain access to the Pavillon du Canada and Pavillon de la Jamaïque.

World Paratriathlon Series

World Paratriathlon Series

Parc Jean-Drapeau will be playing host to the first World Paratriathlon Series. Montréal is one of the three cities that will be the site of the World Series in this sport for the 2019 season.

This Paralympics competition enables participants to compile points to gain an eventual berth in the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.

The event will be held on Île Notre-Dame's Olympic Basin and Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve. The public is invited to come and cheer on these high-level athletes, as the site will be open and accessible to everyone.
