Closure of the Jacques‑Cartier Bridge
June 25, 2017
Due to the rerun of Jacques‑Cartier Bridge's illumination show, the bridge will be completely closed on June 25 from 9:30 p.m. to 11:45 p.m.
Circuit Gilles‑Villeneuve currently open

The Circuit Gilles‑Villeneuve is open to cyclists until July 7.
South Shore Bike Link currently open

The South Shore Bike Link is open to cyclists until July 18.
Closure of the Aquatic Complex
January 1st to December 31, 2017
Due to construction work near the Aquatic Complex, it will be closed to public and athletes for the 2017 season. Swimmers will still be able to come enjoy the water at Parc Jean‑Drapeau this summer at Jean‑Doré Beach.

Many sports events – friendly ones, as well as high-calibre - are held at the Parc. A good number of these events are for charitable causes. Cheer on the athletes or participate yourself!

ERA Regatta

July 1st-2, 2017

The Parc Jean-Drapeau's Olympic Basin will host the 97th edition of the Eastern Rowing Association Regatta, a competition where athletes from across Eastern Canada compete in a 2000-meter long rowing race.

Sprint Canoe Kayak Provincial Championship

August 18-19, 2017

Canada's top sprint canoe-kayak athletes will compete in this provincial competition at Parc Jean-Drapeau's Olympic Basin.

The Color Run

The Color Run, a 5 km event where runners have fun getting doused with paint, will be held on Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve in Montreal. A color-crazy, laughter and emotion-filled day!

Montreal Esprit Triathlon

September 9-10, 2017

The Montreal Esprit Triathlon, which takes place at the Olympic Basin and on the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve at Parc Jean-Drapeau, welcomes hundreds of athletes in swimming, cycling and running events on a flat and fast course. The course is designed so that spectators are in the heat of the action to cheer the athletes!

Dragon Boat Québec Cup

September 16-17, 2017

The Dragon Boat Québec Cup is the third and final stage of the Triple Crown. The teams will compete at the Parc Jean-Drapeau's Olympic Basin in races of 200 m, 500 m and 2000 m during this event sanctioned by Dragon Boat Canada.

Rock 'N' Roll Oasis Marathon - Montreal

The Montréal marathon is one of the largest running events in Canada. The runners start their journey on the Jacques-Cartier Bridge, traveling along the Parc Jean-Drapeau, more precisely St. Helen's Island and the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve on Île Notre-Dame, before heading to Parc La Fontaine on Montreal's island to complete their run.
