Closure of the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve
May 8 to September 4, 2017
The Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve will be inaccessible to cyclists, pedestrians and inline skates enthusiasts from May 8 to September 4, 2017. Exceptionally and when the mounting and demounting of major events allows it, the SPJD will set up a training circuit for cyclists.
South Shore Bike Link
April 7 to November 15, 2017
With a few exceptions, the South Shore cycling link will be accessible throughout the summer season.
Closing of the Aquatic Complex
January 1st to December 31, 2017
Due to construction work near the Aquatic Complex, it will be closed to public and athletes for the 2017 season. Swimmers will still be able to come enjoy the water at Parc Jean-Drapeau this summer at Jean-Doré Beach.

Many sports events – friendly ones, as well as high-calibre - are held at the Parc. A good number of these events are for charitable causes. Cheer on the athletes or participate yourself!

Défi Sportif AlterGo

April 29-30, 2017

An international event that brings together approximately 6 700 athletes from twenty countries. The Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve will host the events of paracycling and para-athletics.

Banque Scotia 21k de Montréal

April 22-23, 2017

Canada Running Series presents the 15th edition of the Banque Scotia 21k de Montréal where more than 5 000 runners will run around the Parc in order to raise money for different charities. Four courses are available and designed to challenge runners of all level: 21K, 10K, 5K and the kids run.
