Hall of Games

Until October 16, 2016

Starting February 10, 2016, test your skills in the Hall of Games, a place of entertainment featuring games from the 16th to the 20th century.

In this new space, players can try these old games, such as the Canadian version of checkers, the cup-and-ball game, the Aboriginal dish game, the jeu de mail (an ancestor of croquet), the frog game and the goose game, using replicas and learn the rules and history of each. The activities for children include a workshop on how to make a thaumatrope, an optical toy invented in the 19th century.

In addition, there are story readings at 1:15 p.m. on the weekends.
