The Stewart Museum will surrender to the magic of Christmas with the fifth edition of the exhibition which illustrates a fascinating aspect of doll making and the evolution of the artistic representation of Santa Claus, who's a well‑known VIP this time of the year.
A wide array of figurines, hand-made by highly regarded artisans, will be exhibited, as will an elegant Szálasi doll castle which comes to live at the sound of music. Vintage photographs depicting winter scenes in Montréal in the early 20th century and film clips on holiday traditions will also be part of the exhibition.
A host of activities will be taking place during this festive, family event, including a craft workshop, treasure hunt, storytelling and short-film watching.
The Stewart Museum is proud to welcome you to the former British military depot on Île Sainte‑Hélène for an annual gathering that is the ideal occasion to get immersed in the holiday spirit.
