Circuit Gilles‑Villeneuve closed Saturday morning

The Circuit Gilles‑Villeneuve will be closed in the morning on Saturday, August 26, due to "The Color Run" event. The Circuit will again be accessible to cars, pedestrians and cyclists at noon.

Take the subway!

The number of parking spaces is limited at the Parc due to the Enhancement and Development work. It is therefore strongly recommended you take the subway to get to Parc Jean‑Drapeau.

Aquatic Complex closed for the 2017 season

January 1st to December 31, 2017

Due to construction work near the Aquatic Complex, it will be closed to public and athletes for the 2017 season. Swimmers will still be able to come enjoy the water at Parc Jean‑Drapeau this summer at Jean‑Doré Beach.

Well known by water sport enthusiasts in the Greater Montréal area, the Parc Jean-Drapeau has two facilities for swimming, enjoying summertime, and escaping heat waves.

Jean-Doré Beach

At Jean-Doré Beach, people can swim and take a refreshing dip every day during summer season. Thanks to a wide swimming area of more than 15,000 square metres, both kids and grown-ups can enjoy of fun-filled day at the Beach.

Open water swimming supervised by an accredited lifeguard is also available to visitors at certain times of the week.

Aquatic Complex

Parc Jean-Drapeau's Aquatic Complex has three outdoor pools for swimmers to enjoy the water and the sun.

The huge gradual-slope recreation pool is ideal for families who want to swim in total safety. The second pool, divided into lanes, lets you put in laps and improve your swimming techniques. The third pool, open to the public at specific times, is for diving and is equipped with springboards of various heights.
