Jacques Cartier Bridger: pedestrians and cyclists

From August 2 to August 31, the sidewalk (eastern side) located between Montreal and parc Jean-Drapeau is closed. To cross the bridge, users can use the multifunctional lane located on the western side.

During the weekends of August 8-9 and August 22-23 from Friday, 11 p.m. to Monday, 5 a.m., only one lane in each direction will be open. Risks of congestion are highly possible.

Champlain Bridge Ice Control Structure

The bicycle and pedestrian path of the Champlain Ice Control Structure linking Parc Jean-Drapeau and Île-des-Sœurs is not accessible from Monday, July 6 until Spring 2016 due to major works by JCCBI. This does not affect the cycling link between the South Shore and Parc Jean-Drapeau.

From July 27 to August 19 in preparation of big events, the sculptures L'Homme, Puerta de Amistad, Ville imaginaire and Phare du Cosmo will not be accessible to the public for security reasons. Thank you for your comprehension.
