Several closures due to the Montreal Marathon: September 25

Please note that Sunday, September 25 from 6 am to noon, Ile Notre-Dame will be closed (including the bike path and the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve), McDonald Road between the Cosmos Bridge and La Ronde, and Tour de l'île Road between Jacques-Cartier Bridge and P-8. The Jacques-Cartier Bridge will also be closed from 4 a.m. to noon. Thank you for your understanding.

Occasional slowdowns on the Seaway dike bicycle path

This fall, cyclists can expect occasional slowdowns close to the new Champlain Bridge project when using the Seaway dike bicycle path.

The popular Week-ends du monde presented by Loto-Québec event is back at Parc Jean-Drapeau on July 4-5 and 11-12, from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m.!

A veritable trip around the world, Week-ends du monde, a free event since 2005, provides Montrealers of all origins with a showcase to celebrate and share their traditions through music, dance and culinary discoveries. This year, a new family segment feature has been added to the program between 2 and 6 p.m.

Saturday, July 4

Opening night of Week-ends du monde in collaboration with Mundial Montréal

Originally recognised for his skills as a turntablist and DJ, in recent years Kid Koala has solidified his image as a multi-disciplinary storyteller who creates his own universe and brings others into it through a variety of projects and performances. He develops all of his ideas in his hometown of Montreal.

Drawing from a wide range of tropical riddims and urban electro, the power of Montreal-based DJ/producer Poirier's bass blasts through any flimsy attempt to classify his music. Young Montreal artist Valérie is singer-songwriter and made its way onto the music scene for several years now. She was featured on the show La Voix and was part of the distribution of Hairspray, the musical directed by Denise Filiatrault.

Samito is a Mozambican-Canadian artist who explores the relationship between acoustic and electronic sounds, the new and the old, in highly rhythmical compositions and lyrics inspired by his childhood, which blends nostalgia and political criticism.
