Car

 

All roads lead to Parc Jean-Drapeau... but to make life easier for you, please note that there are only two points of entry to the Parc if you are coming by car.

The first entrance is accessible by the Jacques-Cartier Bridge and you can get to the second entrance by the de la Concorde Bridge. In both instances, you will have various options once you have reached the Parc, depending on where you want to go. Please pay close attention to the signs.

Depending on your departure point, here are the recommended travel routes:


Coming from the Champlain Bridge

  1. Follow the signs for centre-ville de Montréal (Downtown) / Casino de Montréal
  2. On the Bonaventure Autoroute, take the Pierre-Dupuy exit
  3. Turn right at the traffic light (avenue Pierre-Dupuy)
  4. Continue along Pierre-Dupuy and drive past the Habitat 67 condos
  5. Take the de la Concorde Bridge
  6. Once you are on the bridge, follow the signs for your final destination at Parc Jean-Drapeau

Coming from downtown Montréal

  1. Take the Bonaventure Autoroute
  2. On the Bonaventure Autoroute, take the Pierre-Dupuy exit
  3. Turn left at Avenue Pierre-Dupuy
  4. Continue along Pierre-Dupuy and drive past the Habitat 67 condos
  5. Take the de la Concorde Bridge
  6. Once you are on the bridge, follow the signs for your final destination at Parc Jean-Drapeau

Coming from the Jacques-Cartier Bridge

From Montréal:

  1. Take the Parc Jean-Drapeau exit on the Jacques-Cartier Bridge
  2. At the stop sign, turn left or right depending on your final destination (follow the signs)

From the South Shore:

  1. Take the Parc Jean-Drapeau exit on the Jacques-Cartier Bridge
  2. At the first stop sign, keep heading straight
  3. Bear left or right depending on your final destination (follow the signs)

Speed limit at Parc Jean-Drapeau

Please note the speed limit throughout Parc Jean-Drapeau is 30 km/h, even on Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve.


Motorcycle

In compliance with the City of Montréal by-law, motorcycle traffic is prohibited at all times on all Île Notre-Dame roadways. However, it is permitted on Île Sainte-Hélène, from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., if the entry and exit is done by the Jacques-Cartier Bridge.

Exception:

  • Anyone traveling between their workplace and home
  • Peace officer in the carrying out of his/her duties
  • Scooters that have an engine displacement of 50 cm3 or less

Several parking lots are at your disposal depending on your final destination.

Important notice

Attention to all!

From July 25th to August 10th 2014, swimming at Parc Jean-Drapeau's Aquatic Complex will be canceled because of the 15th FINA World Masters Championships. For holders of a season pass at the Aquatic Complex, the pass will be valid at the Beach during those dates. Thank you for your understanding.
