Description:

Located in the heart of Île Notre-Dame, the beautifully manicured 25 hectare gardens, left over from the 1980 Floralies Internationales horticultural fair, were designed by some of the world's greatest and most celebrated landscape architects. Today, several rare varieties have the park bursting with pride as the Service des espaces verts du parc Jean-Drapeau cares for some 5,000 rose bushes, 100,000 annuals as well as several varieties of perennials, trees and shrubs.

Discover the park's monumental works of art, or the wildlife subtly camouflaged amidst the delicate greenery. Then pause at the base of a majestic willow in the Floralies Gardens for a charming picnic. The vistas are so varied, ever changing with the colours and fragrances of the seasons, that you will never tire of walking in our gardens.
