Les Soirées d'été

Things to do at the Parc

The Greater Montréal population is invited to festive thematic and original evenings designed so you can have fun with your friends, meet people and fully enjoy nature in the city and the nice weather that is so much a part of the summer season.

Boasting an urban furniture design and a pop-up restaurant, the Roseraie welcomes visitors into a pub-and-nature ambiance.

It's an extraordinary place where people can have an alcoholic beverage, make musical discoveries in an intimate concert setting, practice dance steps, participate in educational and exciting game sessions, sing karaoke in front of a crowd, and plenty more.

World fusion music

Bianca Rocha

The singer-songwriter performs the Fim de Mundo show that bears the name of her debut album. The artist reveals her Latin-American roots but also her musical influences that are found on the song tracks, such as MPB (Musique populaire brésilienne), jazz or rock.

Involved in feminist causes and climate change issues, she delivers songs that provoke thought but that also bring a moment of joy and celebration to the public, because celebrating life is the best way to remind us just how precious life is.

Mikha.elles

Mikha.elles is a group founded in 2020 by singer Mikhaëlle Salazar. Accompanied by Marie-Neiges Harvey, Carmelle Gauvin and Judith Little-Daudelin, these four unique-style voices blend into a single and same vocal expression, exploring a repertoire in Spanish and French.

For this occasion, the foursome is accompanied by multi-percussionist Éric Breton, rhythmically merging his message with his music.

Rumba de la Nouba

The music of Rumba de la Nouba draws its inspiration from the rich traditions of Andalusian rumba, Algerian chaabi and cumbia. Substantially animated by a spirit of fusion and eclecticism, they lay claim to this legacy which they dare to revisit and forever redefine.

The multi-colours that permeate their musicality convey a narrative born out of meeting each other. And considering their state of mind, the group’s songs are a convergence of Spanish, Arabic and French.

Shnock & Shanti

The Shnock & Shanti duo juggles with a diversity of musical influences to finely distill a veritable ode to travel and cultural mix. With their most recent album, "Chansons Vagabondes" the artists present the exceptional and little-known pathways of songs, which are well-travelled in their own right.

Beyond these unheard of tales, Shnock & Shanti underscore, first and foremost, the power that music has to serve as a bridge between different cultures.

Sadio Sissokho and Estelle Lavoie

Sadio and Estelle have been playing music together for many years with the group Kabakuwo they co-founded in 2006 and with which they produced the album, Malongtin. While they explored traditional Mandingo music when they first started, they have also turned out many original compositions over the years.

At this show, they team up with their loyal colleague Carlo Birri on bass to share some acoustic time with Sadio on drums and vocals and Estelle Lavoie on kora and vocals to evoke memories of the past but with some new creations, as well.

Board games

Some entertaining nights are in store, where you'll be able to play an assortment of board games outdoors with friends. Hosted by avid game-boarders from the Québec-based company, Randolph, who will be there to guide and entertain you on these Roseraie event nights, which promise to be thought-provoking and strategic, with cocktails, food and much merriment.

Catan, Les aventuriers du Rail, Code Names and plenty of others... come and discover new games or rediscover the classics in a friendly and inspiring setting while you enjoy a one-of-a-kind outdoor board game experience.
