At the Heart of the Olympic Legacy

Things to do at the Parc

An iconic site of the Montréal 1976 Olympic Games, Parc Jean-Drapeau holds a central place in the 50th anniversary celebrations. It was notably at the Olympic Basin that several landmark events took place, firmly anchoring the site in Olympic history and in Montréal's collective memory.

In 2026, the Parc brings this legacy to life through a unifying program designed to be experienced outdoors, in rhythm with the seasons and the landscape, as well as through legacy-driven projects and a renewed showcase of its historical and contemporary role.

The Parc affirms its position as one of the key players in the commemoration, actively contributing to keeping the Olympic legacy alive. Through its iconic spaces and programming, it offers a unique setting for remembrance, sharing, and transmission, while guiding visitors through an experience rooted in the present and looking toward the future.
