Development Projects & Work
Parc Jean-Drapeau has been going through a substantial transformation based around sustainable development and socio-ecological transition. Considerable work has been done and is being carried out at the core of this ambitious, broad-scale project.
These development projects include:
- The buildings
- Art and art works
- The traffic network and mineralized surfaces
- Plant habitats and wetlands
The public strolling around Parc Jean-Drapeau can admire a dazzling landscape and fantastic view of the Saint Lawrence River and downtown Montréal. Sainte-Hélène and Notre-Dame islands make an impression through their vocation: more recreational for some, more sports-oriented for others. Either way, it adds up to a more rewarding, more significant experience for the public at large.
And now it's your turn to discover what's happening in your spacious urban park!
