Jean-Doré Beach

Things to do at the Parc

Open swim

Jean-Doré Beach is an ideal and must-go-to place for swimming enthusiasts. You can swim, get refreshed and play in the water in the huge modular swimming zone that covers a maximum 15,000 square metres in area.

The Beach also provides an easy and special access to nature: a place where you can play in the golden sand, loll in the sun, rest under the shady trees and enjoy a relaxing time in the great outdoors.

The Parc Jean-Drapeau staff makes a concerted effort to ensure top-notch water quality and soft sand, and an inviting beach which is cleaned daily. The aim is to offer an enjoyable and memorable experience amid nature, just a few minutes from the major urban areas.

With family and friends, or even by yourself, Jean-Doré Beach is a delight for people of all ages, every day throughout the summer months.

Prevention and safety

The Parc Jean-Drapeau team provides its clientele with a pleasant and safe swimming experience. Because the collaboration of everyone is essential, please take a few moments to familiarize yourself with the various rules and regulations in force our facilities:

Children under the age of 8 must at all times be accompanied and monitored, at a minimum, by a person aged 16 or over, wearing his/her swim suit, in the swimming area, based on the ratio below:

0-24 months 1 adult / 1 child
25 months to 8 years 1 adult / 3 children

Example: A parent who is alone, with two young children, is not allowed to enter the swimming area if one of these two children is under the age of 25 months old; this is in respect to the monitor-child ratio.
