Play Area
Climb, jump, run, hide, invent: there's no instruction manual here. This new space invites children to move, explore and, above all, enjoy the freedom to play their way, independently.
Hills, rocks, logs, concrete blocks and play structures offer endless possibilities to discover. Children can create their own paths, test their balance, climb, build, make up stories or simply take the time to look around.
This approach to free play is also part of the Parc's history. In 1967, the playground designed by landscape architect Cornelia Hahn Oberlander for the Children's Creative Centre at Expo 67 already encouraged children to direct their own play and explore natural materials such as wood, sand, grass and water.
Today, the Mont Boullé play area builds on this idea in its own way, giving new life to materials from the site and leaving plenty of room for imagination.
