Parc Jean-Drapeau offers packages specially designed for school groups, welcoming both elementary and secondary students. Treat your students to an outing that is both educational and fun, set in a unique natural environment in the heart of Montréal.

The Aquatic Complex school special provides access to a heated pool designed for children, along with playful and refreshing water features. With safe, group-friendly facilities, students can fully enjoy a day of swimming in a welcoming and lively atmosphere.

Easy to access and well equipped, the site allows schools to plan a hassle-free activity with on-site services and spaces tailored for groups. Whether marking the end of the school year or organizing a group outing, this experience combines fun, relaxation, and memorable moments for all participants.

Regulations

  • Anyone not complying with the regulations is subject to a warning. The Société du parc Jean-Drapeau reserves the right to eject anyone that does not obey the rules or warnings.
  • The Société du parc Jean-Drapeau is not responsible for lost or stolen articles.

Chaperon ratio

A chaperon (or monitor) is a person aged 16 and over, in charge of a group of participants. The chaperon must provide the support required for his or her group by either being in the water or within easy reach of the participant.

Here is the chaperon ratio required by the Société du parc Jean-Drapeau:

2 years and under 1 adult / 1 child 1
3-5 years 1 adult / 3 children 1
6-11 years 1 adult / 6 children
12 years and over 1 adult / 15 children
  • 1 Personal Flotation Device (PFD) is mandatory for children ages 5 and under.
    • Recommended to bring your own personal VFI. Parc Jean-Drapeau offers VFIs, but cannot guarantee their availability. It is also the responsibility of the day camp or the school group to verify the conformity of their VFI.
