Aquatic Complex
Open swim
Parc Jean-Drapeau has one of the finest outdoor aquatic complexes in Canada! The recreation pool for open swimming and lane swimming for the general public is usually accessible every day of the summer season.
The gradual-slope recreational pool, which covers an area of 3,557 square metres, is perfect for swimming and playing in the water. The bottom has a cushioned rubber mat for children's comfort and safety.
Accessible to all, the water play area enables everyone to get refreshed in an enjoyable, pleasant and safe manner. Swimmers can also take advantage of the Aquatic Complex's widespread area to lounge in the sun around the pool or in the expansive shady area, spending some time relaxing in the great outdoors.
Whether it's with your family, friends, or just by yourself, the recreational pool at the Aquatic Complex has something to delight every swimming fan.
Prevention and safety
The Parc Jean-Drapeau team provides its clientele with a pleasant and safe swimming experience. Because the collaboration of everyone is essential, please take a few moments to familiarize yourself with the various rules and regulations in force our facilities:
Children under the age of 8 must at all times be accompanied and monitored, at a minimum, by a person aged 16 or over, wearing his/her swim suit, in the swimming area, based on the ratio below:
| 0-24 months | 1 adult / 1 child |
| 25 months to 8 years | 1 adult / 3 children |
Example: A parent who is alone, with two young children, is not allowed to enter the swimming area if one of these two children is under the age of 25 months old; this is in respect to the monitor-child ratio.

Accès Montréal Card
From Monday to Friday, Accès Montréal Card holders get two (2) tickets for the price of one (1) with the purchase of an individual ticket « 14 years and over » for open swim.
This discount does not apply when purchasing online because the card must be checked before the transaction.

In addition to open swimming, you can practice a wide array of water-related activities at the Aquatic Complex:
Lane Swimming
Because of swimming's wide popularity, there are now four swimming lanes set up in the recreational pool at the Aquatic Complex. The general public is invited to come over and train any time of the day, and every day throughout the summer season.
Diving boards
During this time span, the springboards are accessible by swimmers who want to practise diving techniques and have fun.

Services
Changing rooms and lockers
Located at the Aquatic Complex, the changing rooms allow you to take a shower and put on your bathing suit. Keep your personal belongings in a bag nearby or use the lockers available for this purpose: bring your padlock.
Food offer
While you are at Parc Jean-Drapeau, take time to grab a snack with family and friends at one of the many restauration areas located by our various facilities.

Group discount
You can take advantage of a group discount when booking a visit to the Aquatic Complex. This offer is valid for day camps as well as school groups and other groups of people.
Customers with functional limitations
Attendant
Upon presentation of the Companion Leisure Card (CAL) or the Access 2 Card, a free entrance is offered to the attendant.
Accessible facilities
A nearby parking lot with places reserved for clientele with reduced mobility provides safe and easy access to the Aquatic Complex reception area. And, there is an elevator on the premises to get to other floors where the locker rooms, adapted washroom facilities and the pools are.

- Anyone not complying with the regulations is subject to a warning. The Société du parc Jean-Drapeau reserves the right to eject anyone that does not obey the rules or warnings.
